A team of LUMS students have succeeded in securing third place in a national CFA competition.

Vladislav Glazov, Yusuf Inuwa, Saieswari Vedula, Tianqi Wang and Yike Zhang took part in the finals at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London.

Yusuf said the competition was “a truly invaluable experience where the resources (Bloomberg terminals) and financial literature taught to us from courses provided by the Management School could be applied towards producing an equity report to an industry standard.

“Being coached by great members of faculty and an existing portfolio manager provided greater depth in insight towards valuations. The atmosphere and individuals we interacted with at B of AML, reinforced our 'drive' towards one day having a career in the industry of equity valuation.”
