Twitter’s Head of Communications, Sam Hodges, shared insights from his professional experience at a recent event in LUMS, organised by the Marketing Society.

The event was attended by over 60 students, who appreciated hearing the inspirational story of how Sam’s career has progressed, including work in television publicity and communications for ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC.

Sam, a Lancaster BA English language graduate and Alumni Award recipient, had plenty of useful advice to share with the enthusiastic student audience, about the value of networking and for developing their own careers. This included about how important it is to keep learning, also not to underestimate the evolution of change, especially within your career.
