Event Details

This talk invites discussions and views into what doing research and theorization on video medium could entail.

While academics are known for their excellence in writing, arguably, filmmaking and video-based expression has received only limited attention despite the fact that we are living "the era of video". Several examples and perspectives are considered towards how video and videography could be applied and adapted in academic research, but also how it could be used to disseminate research insights and to reach new audiences, given its unique nature.

Joonas Rokka is professor of marketing and director of Lifestyle Research Center at Emlyon Business School.
