Abstract:

Prof Simon Cook and Prof. John Innes have recently joined LU as Professors-of-Practice. Both bring extensive experiences of working with industry, government and the external community in the broad areas of Cyber security. The seminar, as a conversation-style forum, is meant to introduce them to the Security Lancaster community and to garner their experiences and opinions on today's (and future) main security threats and what is key for Lancaster University to develop in terms of research expertise and external engagements to address these threats.
