The Pentland Centre is holding a seminar on Design for social innovation impact: An exploration on design-led evaluation practice inside SMEs. This seminar will explore how design-driven approaches can enhance social innovation.
This seminar will explore the role of design in evaluating and enhancing social innovation within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Participants will discuss how design-driven approaches can be applied to measure social impact, promote sustainable practices, and support business transformation. The seminar will focus on participatory and creative evaluation methods that align with the needs of modern enterprises, and in gathering insights to build a practical framework to assess both qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
This hybrid seminar will be held in person at the Management School - WP A019 (LT 16) from 14:00 to 15:00 and online via Microsoft Teams. Please note that the session will be recorded and shared publicly afterward.

Politecnico di Milano
PhD candidate in Design at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano. Her research is focused on Design Evaluation and monitoring of Design for Social Innovation initiatives inside SMEs in Italy. Her main interest is in developing strategies and leading initiatives to achieve positive change for businesses and communities through design practice. Member of Polimi DESIS Lab and the international DESIS Network.
