SIME Seminar

Are you wanting to develop your skills and capabilities to publish in highly ranked peer reviewed journals and at peer r-reviewed national and international conferences? Publishing in academic journals and presenting at conferences are essential avenues for education-focused academics to share insights, influence practice, and advance their careers through confirmation and promotion.

This interactive workshop is designed to empower education researchers with the tools, strategies, and confidence to publish their work effectively and in places that have impact. You will explore the key components of successful academic publishing, learn how to identify the right journals and conferences for your work, and gain insights into the peer review process. It will also focus on some of the critical practices for successful business education publishing such as managing your own research profile, predatory journals and conferences, common pitfalls and how to access funding and support.

Through practical exercises, real-world examples, and discussion, you will leave with a clearer understanding of how to craft compelling manuscripts, respond to reviewer feedback, and build a sustainable publishing pipeline. Whether you're new to academic publishing or looking to increase your impact, this workshop offers a supportive space to refine your scholarly voice and share your educational innovations with the wider academic community both in your Business School and across the sector.
