Why did you choose to study at LUMS?
I had previously completed my Undergraduate degree in Software Engineering from Lancaster University, under a dual degree program. This was one of the reasons why I chose LUMS.

The availability of diverse modules and the teaching facilities were truly remarkable.
What/Who inspired you the most at LUMS and why?
My diverse colleagues always gave unique perspectives in the lecture rooms, and also some of the faculty members during the course have been sources of inspiration.
Describe your time at LUMS in three words.
Wonderful, Productive, Challenging.
What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?
There are many, but the ones that stand out are related to meeting and bonding with some of the nicest colleagues. Also, I had an opportunity to work with the Lake District National Car Park as my dissertation project, which was a great learning curve under the guidance of my supervisor.
What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?
It is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I am a person who likes nature and the Lancaster area is all about it. It's also about an hour's drive from the Lake District.
What impact did scholarships or funding have on your degree experience?
It had a significant impact since I was an alumnus already, and getting an excellence scholarship on top of it was a deciding factor to proceed with my Master's. I am glad that I opted for it.
Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?
The assignments were a great learning opportunity to get practical experience, and also the labs associated with courses really helped to grasp the concepts properly for the job.
What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?
The Lancaster experience has helped me not just on the technical front, but I have also grown as a person as I have learned to be social again, after COVID times.
