Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

I wanted to gain experience abroad, and get my Master's degree before settling down with one job.

What/who inspired you the most at LUMS and why?

The people I am lucky enough to now call my friends, they all brought their own stories to the table and pushed me to push myself.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

The people in Lancaster are very welcoming and - as someone who doesn't live on campus - it was a great experience living next door to them.

What impact did scholarships or funding have on your degree experience?

Getting a scholarship allowed me to finance the study on my own, without having to worry that my parents would have to pay for everything.

Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?

The internationality! While I moved away from the UK, I still live abroad and work for a multinational company. Having spent my last year surrounded by people from around the world, it really made it easier to settle in yet another country.

What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?

My Lancaster journey really showed me what I want to do with my career and allowed me to really focus on those things.
