The focus of this lecture is on how we can leverage user-generated data from various platforms (Google Trends, online reviews, social media) to gain customer- and brand-specific insights.
We will look at a practical case study that highlights the key questions that can be addressed with the help of user-generated content. We will discuss how unstructured information such as text can be translated into data that can be analysed with the help of statistical models to then derive actionable insights.
