This one day masterclass, delivered by Dr Steve Eldridge, Senior Teaching Fellow at Lancaster University Management School is designed for leaders of Lancashire manufacturing and engineering businesses.
Process thinking is a fundamental aspect of productivity improvement in any organization.
Steve places it in the wider context of Operations Management, before considering the role of processes as a source of competitive advantage. The design of the process is often critical to the achievement of the organisation’s performance and the key factors influencing process design are highlighted.
Delegates will be challenged to consider: are we managing our resources productively? Are our processes performing competitively? Are our process designs appropriate? Do our processes push or pull or both? Do we have waste in our processes? How should we approach process improvement in our organization?
