Science and Technology Impact Case Studies

Faculty of Science and Technology research has changed lives all over the world. In 2025 our research resulted in a national honour, the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education. Take a look at the prize-winning project and some of our other impactful work, ranging from the creation of a new biopesticide to deal with the invasive armyworm, to identifying the effectiveness of COVID-19 treatments.
