My morning routine

As a postgraduate student, discipline and motivation are what keep me going every morning. I start my day early, check my emails, grab my breakfast and head out to the university for lectures, conducting research or spending time in the library.

Daily activities

My day has a mix of research activities, attending the scheduled lectures and workshops, collaborating with fellow students or professors for upcoming assignments, independent learning and studying and socialising with friends over lunch whenever possible.

Evenings

In the evening, I mostly spend some time at the gym, wrap up any remaining tasks from the day and prepare for any upcoming assignments or projects. Finally, preparing my dinner, talking to family members and unwinding before bed by watching a movie or series or just net surfing, is what I believe is extremely crucial for me to relax and start fresh the next day.

Student societies

I am currently not a member of any society, however, I look forward to being a part of Green Lancaster, which is an initiative which focuses on sustainability and environmental responsibilities. I have previously volunteered with similar groups and will be keen on joining Green Lancaster and getting actively involved with eco-friendly practices, making an initiative to make the campus environmentally conscious for all.

Where I like to spend time on the campus

To begin with, I spend most of my time at the E floor of the Management School. I always prefer going up there, between lectures mostly, and study in the silent zone there, which gives me access to the spectacular view of the campus.

The C floor at the library is also where I really like spending a lot of time, mostly studying, because of the silent spaces available where I can really focus on my work, with very few distractions.

Finally, when there is sun, I really like soaking in the sunshine, coupled with a drink or snack at Alexandra Square.

You can watch a tour of the campus on YouTube.
