Lancaster MBA alumni from across three decades of graduation years and twelve nationalities joined a Virtual Career Networking professional development webinar on 22 July.

The webinar, the first in a series of three, was led by experienced careers coach, Peter Fennah.

Through the session, alumni heard about fear of networking and resistors, ways to improve technique and practical steps to overcome procrastination. They also participated in breakout room conversations that initiated new networking opportunities.

Thanks to the benefits of digital technology, alumni were able to join the webinar from around the world, including from as far away as Chile and India.

Attendee Swee Yin Tan, who graduated in 2015, commented: “It was a very insightful and encouraging webinar and I cannot wait to hear more from Peter. The breakout session was also very good. I am of the view that the support we get as alumni is great and I do appreciate all the updates.”

Peter’s second and third webinars for Lancaster MBA alumni will take place in the coming months:

Session 2: Disrupted Identities @ Times of Change – 11 September 2020

Session 3: Navigating Hidden Transitions as we transition to C-suite leaders – 21 October 2020
