About iGrow Green Careers
The iGrow Green Careers Programme at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is a free, hands-on learning programme designed to help develop future leaders in sustainability. The programme is funded by the British Council’s Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants.
This programme is designed for young people who have limited opportunities or face barriers to progression. It aims to enhance employability through practical training in digital marketing, social media, podcasting and analytics, alongside circular-economy and green skills. Experts provide real-world insights into sustainability, innovation and AI, strengthening participants’ skills and preparing them for new opportunities, future career pathways and entrepreneurial ventures
Who can take part?
To take part in the programme, you must be:
- Aged between 18 and 30 years old
- Fluent in English
You do not need prior experience in business or sustainability.
When does the programme take place?
The programme lasts six months, from 15 March - 31 August 2026.
How much does the programme cost?
There is no fee to take part.
Who is running the programme?
iGrow Green Careers is delivered by Dr Hina Khan, alongside Dr Eman Gadalla and Professor Ahmad Daryanto from the Department of Marketing at Lancaster University Management School. Together, they bring internationally recognised expertise in sustainability, marketing, and digital innovation, combining research and industry experience to advance green skills, employability, and enterprise development through cross-sector collaboration.
