About iGrow Green Careers
The iGrow Green Careers Programme at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is a free, hands-on learning programme designed to help develop future leaders in sustainability. The programme is funded by the British Council’s Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants.
This programme is designed for young people who have limited opportunities or face barriers to progression. It aims to enhance employability through practical training in digital marketing, social media, podcasting and analytics, alongside circular-economy and green skills. Experts provide real-world insights into sustainability, innovation and AI, strengthening participants’ skills and preparing them for new opportunities, future career pathways and entrepreneurial ventures
Who can take part?
To take part in the programme, you must be:
- Aged between 18 and 30 years old
- Fluent in English
- A British Citizen or permanent resident of the UK who does not require a study visa
- Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), unemployed, underemployed, or at risk of becoming NEET
- Motivated and committed to the programme
- We particularly encourage applications from individuals from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.
You do not need prior experience in business or sustainability.
How much does the programme cost?
There is no fee to take part.
