Book Launch - Marco Wyss and Hugo Meijer

Lancaster University’s Department of History invites you to the launch of The Handbook of European Defence Policies and Armed Forces.

Edited by Lancaster’s Dr Marco Wyss and Dr Hugo Meijer of Sciences Po, the Handbook assembles fifty-one chapters from experts across the globe to assess how Europe's armed forces have been transformed in the wake of the Cold War. The first comprehensive treatment of this topic, it is unique in its pan-European approach. The Handbook is published by Oxford University Press in the UK and US.

The launch will include a drinks reception, introductory remarks by Professor Michael Hughes (Lancaster) and talks from Hugo Meijer and Marco Wyss.
