This webinar - open to all - will take the audience into the restoration site for cultural relics at the Terracotta Army Museum in Xi'an, China, to explore restoration techniques.
Following the success of our two previous livestream webinars from the Terra-Cotta Museum in Xi'an, Chinese Studies at Lancaster University is hosting the third and final livestream webinar in this three-part webinar series on Thursday 13 March at 9am UK time.
This third webinar will take the audience into the restoration site for cultural relics. Professor Yongying Dong, from Xidian University will interview a cultural relics restoration expert about how the fragments of the Terra-cotta warriors are restored in the relics hospital. There will be a Q&A session for audience members after the interview.
The webinar is aimed at anyone interested in Chinese culture, history, and language.
