It is intended to develop awareness of recent, current and proposed research, in LUMS, in the broad area of productivity.

An important aim is to help generate connections between colleagues who may be able to collaborate on future funding bids in this area. Productivity will continue to be a priority funding area for UKRI/the ESRC and Innovate UK.

The participants have been invited as a result of my being aware of work they are doing, rather than through a systematic call for papers. It may well be that other colleagues in the School are working in relevant areas. We aim to run more events of a similar nature during 2019-20, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, if you want to.
