Join The Ruskin and Diamond Awl Leather Workshop to create a beautiful and useful card holder or coin purse to take home. The workshop takes place in the inspiring setting of Lancaster Castle.

Diamond Awl Leather Workshop practice and teach traditional leatherwork skills with a modern design approach, and are passionate about sharing heritage skills and knowledge.

During this taster workshop, participants will be introduced to a range of basic leatherwork skills and will make their own card holder and/or coin purse using high quality Italian vegetable tanned leather.

Founder Jason Stocks-Young recently featured on BBC’s Saved & Remade and Made in Great Britain, which explored Britain’s heritage in manufacturing.

This is part of The Ruskin’s Spring programme of workshops at the Castle. Learn from contemporary artists and makers and get to know the Ruskin Whitehouse Collection, in a creative and sociable environment. All workshops are suitable for beginners.
