Calling all Couch Potatoes, Non-Runners and Would-Be Runners!
Michelle is starting a free Couch to 5K session on Monday 30th January 2023 at 12.30pm from the foyer of University House.
The sessions will last for approximately 30 minutes and will take place three times a week (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and will run for a period of approximately 9 weeks. At the end of this, you WILL be able to run for 5K without stopping.
The sessions are designed for non-runners and absolute beginners to running – and more importantly – those who think they can’t run!!
It isn’t about speed or endurance but about building up the length of time you can run for over the weeks so the first couple of weeks will have very little running in them!! Everyone will go at their own pace and there is no pressure to increase your speed at all.
If you are interested in trying it out, there is no need to book, just turn up at 12.30pm on Monday 30th January just outside the foyer of University House and who knows – you might surprise yourself!!
Please note – these sessions are for non-runners only and not for the more experienced!
