A workshop to help understand, explore, and challenge aspects of anxiety, and develop coping mechanisms to manage it.
Being a student at university has always presented unique challenges in dealing with change and uncertainty. Feeling anxious and overwhelmed at times is normal.
However, if anxiety is getting in the way of you getting the most out your student experience, join our Summer Anxiety Group workshop which will help you:
- Understand anxiety, and why humans feel anxious
- Explore causes and triggers for your own anxieties
- Learn to accept uncertainty
- Challenge unhelpful thinking and gain perspective
- Develop healthy coping mechanisms and practical techniques to manage anxiety
The workshop is facilitated by qualified practitioners from the Counselling & Mental Health Team
