It’s a tale common to many librarians in Higher Education...
It’s a tale common to many librarians in Higher Education. Before March 2020, there was very little need for support with systematic reviews. Then suddenly, as the world was plunged into lockdown, it seemed as if every student working on a dissertation had changed the format to a systematic review. We had to simultaneously create tools to provide the guidance our students needed while figuring out what exactly a systematic review was for ourselves. This session will not pretend give expert advice on systematic reviews. It will instead be a retrospective look at how we have developed support for systematic reviews at the University of Chester: our failures, our successes, what we learned along the way and a plea for help. Be prepared to bring your thinking caps, a sympathetic ear and try not to judge too harshly. About: I have been an Assistant Liaison Librarian at the University of Chester since 2016.
