Come back to your college for a weekend of nostalgia and celebration at Grizedale College to celebrate the 50th Anniversary

We kick off on Friday afternoon with a welcome reception in the College foyer from 4-8pm. Have a glass of fizz and collect your Grizedale reunion goodie bag and weekend guide. During the evening, relive your student days at the legendary Gz disco, with live music from The Usuals.

During Saturday in the day there will be time for campus tours and reminiscing over memorabilia at morning coffee in the college. Saturday will also see campus buzzing with activity with an Offer Holder Day for our prospective students - alumni are invited to join department talks and take a tour of accommodation... see what has changed since your student days

In the afternoon you can join the talk, In Conversation with Andrew Okey (Grizedale Principal, 2004-2006), Karen Wright (Grizedale Principal, 2019-2025) and Marion McClintock (Honorary University Archivist). Andrew will be talking about his newly published book on the history of Grizedale College - see if your memories of the College have made it into print! You can pre-purchase a signed copy of the book to collect at the reunion.

On Saturday evening there will be our traditional hog roast (vegetarian and vegan options available), welcome speeches and cake cutting, followed by live bands until midnight featuring Black Cat Band, Chicago Sunroof (a current student band with two Grizedale members) and GreenStax (a Grizedale Extrav band).

Cost: £20 Early Bird Ticket (until 30 November 2025, subject to availability) and thereafter £30 (until 9 February 2026, subject to availability). Includes your Gz welcome pack and glass of fizz, hog roast ticket, Friday's DJ night, Saturday's live bands and the "In Conversation with..." talk.
