More about our line-up...

Ria Lina (MC)

“Fearless, provocative and very funny”- Scotsman, Ria Lina is a highly accomplished comedian, writer, actor and one of the hardest working performers in the business. A hugely admired act on the UK comedy circuit, she commands respect from the moment she walks onstage and delivers with natural ease and energy. Ria is the only female Filipina comedian in British stand up, she headlines at major clubs in the UK and internationally.

With a BSc in Experimental Pathology, an MSc in Forensic Science and a PhD in Virology under her belt, it’s not only Ria’s comedy that’s highly intelligent. A regular pundit on Sky News and BBC News, Ria’s in demand for scientific insight and biting wit. Both of which are put to excellent use on Richard Hammond's Brain Reaction, a science-based panel show, where Ria fills the role of knowledgeable sidekick and assistant.

Finlay Christie

Finlay Christie started early, performing at the Comedy Club 4 Kids since the age of 7 and being featured on Blue Peter for his stand-up comedy at just 14 years old.

At only 19 he went on to win the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition. Past finalists include Peter Kay, Lee Mack, Sarah Millican and Hannah Gadsby. He now performs in comedy clubs up and down the country and has been featured on ITV2’s The Stand-up Sketch Show and BBC One’s BBC New Comedy Award.

Finlay has over 170k+ followers and 8+ million likes on TikTok. His sketches are immensely popular, amassing over 100 million views on YouTube and TikTok. His series “When they go to a foreign country in a Hollywood film” has been featured on LADBible, UrbanTV, It’s Gone Viral and Al Jazeera. He has also made branded content for Amazon Prime, Branston and the video game Olli Olli World, amongst others.

Josh Jones

Mancunian ray of sunshine, Josh Jones is the most original voice to emerge from the North-West in recent years.

After his hilarious debut TV appearances on E4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats and ITV’s Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Josh has gone on to host BBC Three’s Fast Food Face-Off and make guest appearances on Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, ITV2’s Iain Stirling’s CelebAbility, E4’s Reality News, Sky Max’s Dating No Filter, Dave’s Late Night Mash, and Comedy Central’s Undeniable, Guessable, Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains and Comedy Central Live. Josh recently made his debut appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.

Josh co-hosts the Dave original podcast series Hard Sell with Darren Harriott. He also hosts his own historical gossip podcast Dead Drama, and the Chatting with Cherubs podcast with Morgan Rees.

In 2022 Josh was nominated for Best Newcomer at Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards for his critically acclaimed sell-out show Waste of Space. He was previously a finalist for the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award, which he subsequently went on to judge on BBC Three. Josh was also nominated for Outstanding On-Screen Talent Featured in a Production at the 2022 Royal Television Society Northern Ireland Awards for hosting Fast Food Face-Off for BBC Three.

Gbemi Oladipo

Guaranteed to lift the mood in any room, Gbemi Oladipo is an exciting new comedian who tantalises his audiences with his charismatic approach to contentious topics.

His engaging and unpredictable writing style combined with his high energy performances have seen Gbemi nominated for the BBC’s New Comedian of the Year, and win the Max Turner Prize for Comedy and The Comedy Stores King Gong.

Gbemi also wrote and starred in the award-winning “F*ck My Life – Most Racist Uber Ride Ever”, a story based on one of his real-life experiences. The short film produced by Pulped Productions won the prestigious Broadcast Digital Awards in 2020 for Best Short-Form Format. It was also nominated for a Webby Award for Comedy (2021) alongside videos from James Corden (winner), Trevor Noah’s the Daily Show, and The Simpsons.
