Understand Your Customers And Prototype Your Ideas!

In these fortnightly workshops, you will work to develop your idea so it meets the needs of your potential customers. You’ll learn to prototype quickly to get real feedback to build meaningful products and services.

A short taught section at the start of each workshop will explore topics including:

  • Who are my Customers?
  • What are their needs?
  • Problem research & Problem solution fit
  • Making ideas tangible
  • Prototyping to learn
  • Solution research and Product market fit

Joining Instructions

Our online sessions take place via video calls on Microsoft Teams. This can be accessed via your Internet Browser or by downloading the Microsoft Teams application. Please join our Community Group using the link below and your Lancaster University login. If you do not have a Lancaster University account or would like to use an alternative email address, please let us know via email at workinprogress@lancaster.ac.uk and we'll add you to the group. Join the Work in Progress Members CommunityYou do not have to book to join this session. To join these sessions, please join the 'Customer Discovery Workshops' Channel within the Work in Progress Members Community Microsoft Teams Group at the times shown. You will then be able to join the session taking place.
