Event Details
This interactive workshop will focus on the art - the skills, crafts, and processes - of doing and writing autoethnography.
We will first define autoethnography and describe how the method is informed by both ethnographic and autobiographic practices. We will then explore the artful techniques of conducting fieldwork and representing experience. Numerous examples will be used throughout the workshop. Ample time will be provided for discussion.
