Event Details
In this session Blu will provide guidance about how to get work published in journals.
Based on her extensive experience as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Gender Studies, she will talk about the peer review process and how to get involved with academic journals more broadly, for example, as a referee or editorial board member. She will include some discussion specifically about the Journal of Gender Studies, but most of the session will be applicable to publishing in journals more broadly. There will be lots of opportunities for questions and discussion. All are welcome. The session will be particularly useful for early career scholars and PhD students who are relatively new to publishing.
Speaker: Dr Blu Tirohl, Editor in Chief, Journal of Gender Studies.
Refreshments: Available from 16.00.
The seminar is hosted by the Centre for Social Justice and Wellbeing in Education (Department of Educational Research).
