Health@Lancaster Collaboration Cafe - Professor Simon Bainbridge
Professor Simon Bainbridge, from Lancaster's Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, will speak about the therapeutic powers of walking having recently featured on Michael Portillo's Great British Railway Journeys.
The weekly Collaboration Cafe gives colleagues the chance to meet up over their morning coffee and discuss a different topic every Wednesday morning. There are opportunities to connect with people from across campus who are interested in health research and knowledge exchange, with external partners also welcome to take part in the discussion. Refreshments are provided and the event closes at 9.45am to allow colleagues with other commitments to return to main campus for 10am.
