Get inspired to think about leadership, careers and sociology in new ways through this interactive online workshop.

The session begins with a quiz to get us thinking about which traditional leadership qualities different celebrities and pop culture characters might have. Then a short presentation will share some social scientific ways of thinking about leadership and how it matters. After this, participants will complete an activity about their own experiences of being led or leading others, sharing with the group if they wish to. To conclude the session, a panel of sociology students and alumni will reflect upon their own experiences and what they have gained from the discussion.

The event will be recorded in order to facilitate the creation of postcards capturing highlights from the discussion. These will be mailed to all participants and shared online following the workshop.
