Towards a Whole-Provider Approach to Widening Participation: Strategy, Implementation and Evaluation in Progress
Towards a Whole-Provider Approach to Widening Participation: Strategy, Implementation and Evaluation in Progress (Dr Matthew R. Pawelski, Impact Development Manager and Dr Martin P. Walker, Head of Social Mobility and Student Success)
This session explores Lancaster University’s emerging work to develop a more systemic, whole-provider approach to widening participation. It will consider how strategy, delivery and evaluation can be better aligned across the institution, including the development of an evaluation framework intended to move us beyond measuring individual interventions towards understanding collective impact across the student lifecycle. The session will share reflections on this work in progress and invite colleagues to contribute to shaping how this developing approach is embedded across the institution.
AI Guidance (Amy Hughes Digital Skills Developer)
To help us all review the LU guidance and materials available to support use of AI, Amy will provide an overview of the guidance available at LU including the new Digital Online course and taught sessions offered by the Digital Training Team, She will then provide a brief demonstration to Co-pilot Chat followed by a Q&A.
