Lancaster University Management School & Sunway Business School cordially invite you to a two-day conference scheduled for July 18th June and 19th June, 2024. This joint conference provides a dynamic and inclusive research environment for academics from both institutions to showcase their research, receive valuable feedback, and foster collaborative research projects that bridge the gap between the Global North and Global South.

The aim of this conference is to leverage the diverse expertise of researchers from both LUMS and Sunway Business School, fostering an environment where interdisciplinary knowledge flourishes and leads to significant advancements. The theme reflects the aspiration to create meaningful, collaborative research initiatives that span continents. It underscores the commitment to not only developing global research partnerships but also driving impactful change through these efforts. The focus is on producing actionable insights and innovative solutions that address pressing global issues. The conference will feature four concurrent streams: a) Accounting, Finance, and Economics; b) Marketing; c) Management and Technology; d) Responsible & Sustainable Management alongside engaging workshops on theory development, grant writing and industry engagement.

Objectives of the conference:
