This is the second installment in a new seminar series aimed at Years 3-4 Mathematics undergraduates and postgraduates. There will be two talks in which the speakers will outline an area of mathematics they find interesting, with the goal of showcasing what research mathematicians do.

Year 3/4 and PhD students are invited to a new seminar series:
Open Problems in Mathematics:
Get a sense of what mathematicians in the dept are researching:
- What are the big open problems in their field?
- What is it like to study postgraduate mathematics?
- What do mathematicians do after obtaining a PhD?
Accessible to a general audience.
