Cantor Combinatorics

In the first part of the lecture I will talk about recent results on dynamical systems, the construction of free, minimal actions of countable groups on compact and non-compact Cantor sets (the basic playground of Cantor Combinatorics). Then I will show a "computer science" approach to Cantor Combinatorics via local distributed algorithms.
