Whether you are looking for feedback on an idea, a co-founder, specific skill sets, or a team to help you execute, Techstars Startup Weekend is the perfect environment in which to test your ideas and take the first steps towards launching your own change initiative or startup, or simply being part of the team.

Startup Weekend is a global network of passionate leaders and entrepreneurs on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, teams and communities. During the weekend you will learn the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures.

Participants create working startups during the event and collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. The event will see you networking with industry leaders and mentors who will share their experiences of building their own business. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs. The weekend is centred around action, innovation, and education.

Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, the weekend culminates in Sunday demos and presentations.

This event is being led by Enactus Lancaster and will be facilitated by an experienced Techstars (powered by google) Facilitator Johannes Reindl who says his first Start up weekend changed his life.
