Event Details

Mike Berners-Lee is a Professor in the Lancaster Environment Centre and Founder of Small World Consulting. Mike is an expert in greenhouse gas footprinting and recently appeared with Sir David Attenborough in “Climate Change: The Facts”.

This talk explores the environmental and economic challenges we face and the changes we can all make to help save our only planet!

Mike is considered an expert on carbon footprints and has published best sellers on the topic including How Bad are Bananas: The Carbon Footprint of Everything and The Burning Question. Following the talk Mike will be happy to sign copies of his new book 'There is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years'.

There will also be canapés and refreshments provided, following the talk, and the Storey Bar will be open, if anyone would like to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
