Discover how Operation CRONOS, an international collaboration led by the NCA, brought down LockBit—the world’s most destructive ransomware group. This landmark operation reshaped global approaches to tackling cybercrime. Join Paul Foster for an engaging talk and Q&A exploring its impact and legacy.

Until early 2024, LockBit ransomware was widely regarded as the most destructive ransomware variant globally, responsible for approximately 25% of all attacks. In response, the National Crime Agency (NCA) led an international law enforcement collaboration—Operation CRONOS—which combined covert and overt tactics to fully compromise LockBit. This multi-layered disruption is now hailed as one of the most significant cybercrime operations ever conducted.

Operation CRONOS is ongoing and has established a lasting legacy, shaping strategies and informing operations that combat cybercrime and online harms worldwide.

Join us for this engaging talk, followed by a Q&A session, delivered by Paul Foster, to gain unique insights into one of the most impactful cybercrime operations in history.
