Southwest Perimeter Road - Western pedestrian route (pavement) closure

Following the works taking place on the Perimeter Road between Bigforth Drive Roundabout and the Pre-School Centre, the Southwest Perimeter Road Western pedestrian route (pavement) will remain closed, until a date within the week commencing 19th September. The final date of reopening will be confirmed via further communications.
The Eastern pedestrian route and perimeter road will re-open as planned on Monday 12th September. This will provide an accessible route to pedestrians traveling from North Drive and South Drive, but not from Bigforth Drive.
For an accessible route, pedestrians approaching from Bigforth Drive should follow signage and travel East on the footpath towards the Chaplaincy Centre. From there, an accessible route is in place on the Eastern footpath to avoid the path closure. The accessible route is available on Mazemap.
