Permit to Work

Request a Permit to Work (Facilities staff only).

Project Requests

Submit and manage project requests for any non-maintenance items.

Facilities Event Support Requests

Request support from Facilities for an upcoming event and/or approve existing requests (HoDs).

Catering Orders

Place a catering order and manage your bookings.

Bike Register

Register of abandoned bicycles (Security staff only).

Amend Space Data

Keep data accurate by telling us of changes to your area. Not for maintenance requests.

Out of Hours Door Access Request

Request to have doors unlocked out of hours for open days, conferences, events, etc.

Swipe Card Request

Request a swipe card to access University House, HR Building or Bowland Main B Floor.

The Facilities Helpdesk supplements the online fault reporting facility and provides a central point of contact for staff, students and visitors to enquire about the range of services provided by Facilities:

  • Facilities enquiries
  • Fault reporting
  • Follow up, progress and escalation of faults and requests
  • General requests for information
  • Notification of planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

  • Monday-Wednesday: 9.00am - 5.30pm
  • Thursday-Friday: 9.00am - 5.00pm

In an Emergency or Outside of Normal Working Hours

  • If you require an immediate response, where a dangerous situation exists or further damage can be prevented, all calls must be directed to the Security Lodge, telephone: 01524 594541.
