Global Partners Conference 2021

Steve Bradley

Welcome from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor

We are extremely proud of our international footprint and we are acutely aware of the role our partners play in our continued growth and development as a “globally significant” university. From welcoming international students to study here at Bailrigg, to the development and expansion of our international partnerships and campus network, our commitment to global engagement remains firm.

We are aware of the challenges facing Higher Education as a result of the pandemic and are committed to overcoming these challenges to retain our position as an elite global institution. We greatly appreciate the support and cooperation of our global partners and cannot emphasise enough your value to the University in supporting our efforts. We thank you for your time in supporting this event and we look forward to welcoming you to our Bailrigg campus as soon as circumstances allow.

Professor Steve Bradley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor

Conference overview

In a challenging year for the entire Higher Education sector, Lancaster University Online Global Partners Conference represents our continued commitment to engage with our partners and to provide you with the knowledge and tools your students need in their decision to study with us in the coming year. The team at Lancaster are acutely aware of the challenges facing student recruitment as a result of the global pandemic and we are keen to ensure that key partners, such as yourselves, are supported in your efforts to send students to study with us. In previous years, we would have been welcoming our key partners to join us at our wonderful Bailrigg campus. As that is not currently possible, we wanted to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the Lancaster University offering and to engage further with our fantastic team.

This conference will deliver a compact schedule of sessions, specifically designed to cover key topics of interest for our recruitment partners. This online conference is intended to enhance your understanding of the Lancaster University offering, but also to explore new opportunities for Lancaster to expand our support of your organisation. We would greatly encourage feedback and engagement during the event to ensure you are getting the most of your time with us.

Agenda

We are delighted to offer a variety of exciting sessions covering a range of topics. As well as presentations on student life and our accommodation, there's also the opportunity to join a virtual campus tour, meet some of our departments, and hear keynote speeches from world-leading experts.
