Lancaster University Pre-School Centre has recently been awarded Gold accreditation in recognition of its outstanding delivery of the myHappymind Nursery programme. The achievement reflects a significant step up from its previous Silver status.

The myHappymind programme is a science-backed mental wellness curriculum that aligns with the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage framework through five core modules: Meet Your Brain, Celebrate, Appreciate, Relate, and Engage.

It aims to build resilience, confidence, self‑esteem, and emotional regulation in children through engaging activities and storytelling.

Pre-school Centre Manager, Adele Stewart commented:

“I am delighted that the Pre-School Centre has continued to embed the programme leading to us being awarded the myHappymind Gold accreditation.

The skills acquired by the children are extremely beneficial, and it’s a pleasure to see them demonstrating what they have learnt with such clarity and confidence.”

Achieving Gold accreditation in 2025, after earning Bronze in 2023 and Silver in 2024, highlights the Pre-School Centre’s deepening commitment to embedding myHappymind practices in daily life.
