World Book Day at the Pre-School Centre
Each room in the centre will also be choosing one of their focus books for the term as the theme for the day, and children are encouraged to dress up as a character from their room’s chosen book.
· Baby Room – Bedtime Stories
· Creche 1 – My First Words
· Creche 2 – Dear Zoo
· Nursery 1 & 2 – Colour Monster
· Pre-School 1 – Going on a Bear Hunt
· Pre-School 2 – Smartest Giant in Town

Zoolab will also be visiting the children in the Pre-School rooms to engage them with a story time session and introduce them to their fantastic animal friends!
A representative from Usborne Books will also be hosting a book sale in the foyer of the Pre-School Centre on Wednesday 4 March, with a selection of fiction and non-fiction books available to purchase. A percentage of the sales will be used to purchase new books for the centre.

About World Book Day
World Book Day is a charity funded by publishers and booksellers in the United Kingdom, dedicated to promoting reading for pleasure and making books accessible to everyone.
Reading for fun is the biggest indicator that a child will grow up to enjoy a happier and more successful life – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational backgrounds or their income.
