Intellectual Property Support

Providing IP Support to staff and students at Lancaster University.

Following a review of Enterprise and Innovation activities at the University, we are seeking to strengthen the policies and practices of using Intellectual Property and other research outcomes with an emphasis on the generation of societal and economic impact.

In alignment with Lancaster University Strategic Plan, the IP policy has been developed to encourage and facilitate the dissemination of research and the exploitation of knowledge. The new IP policy will come into effect on 1st August 2019.

We actively encourage outside organisations to use and commercialise our inventions. For more details follow the links below or contact the Intellectual Property Team.
