You will be automatically considered for this funding when you apply

The Lancaster University International Study Centre Progression Scholarship is awarded to high achieving students who achieve at least 75% overall in your International Study Centre course. It recognises the fantastic results you have achieved to progress to undergraduate study and your commitment to continuing your studies at Lancaster.

Who is eligible?

You will be offered one of these scholarships if you:

  • achieve at least 75% overall in your International Study Centre course
  • are a full-time International fee-paying applicant

Application process

  • There is no separate application process for the Lancaster University International Study Centre Progression Scholarship.
  • Around mid-October, after registration, eligible students will receive an email to confirm the details of the award, and how your fee reduction will be applied.

Combining scholarship awards

If you meet the eligibility criteria for the International Regional Scholarship – Undergraduate, you can combine it with this Lancaster University International Study Centre Progression Scholarship.

Payment of the scholarship

The award will be worth £3,000 and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction for each year of study of your undergraduate programme

  • The scholarship is available across all our full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus, with the exception of the MBChB Medicine and Surgery course.
  • All grade conditions must be met or exceeded.
  • Awardees must be classed as Overseas or International fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘Home’ fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
  • You are not eligible to receive the Lancaster University International Study Centre Progression Scholarship - Undergraduate for any repeated years of study.

Lancaster University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship or bursary if award holders are subsequently found to be ineligible or if the terms and conditions of the scholarship are not adhered to.
