Students who have studied at school or college outside of the UK should check the qualifications we accept listed by country.
Lancaster University also offers international students (non EU/UK) who do not meet the direct entry requirements for an undergraduate degree course the option of completing a degree preparation programme at the University’s International Study Centre.
For some of our Undergraduate degrees we may be able to consider an A Level in a native language as part of your offer criteria, provided that it is being studied as one of four A2 levels. Requirements regarding native language A levels vary between courses and we would recommend contacting the Admissions Office for clarification.
The International Baccalaureate requirements for each degree can be found on our course pages. In general we require an overall points requirement with a specified number of points from 3 Higher level subjects.
Accepted English language tests
We accept a range of internationally recognised English language tests. Read more about our English language requirements.
