Important dates


UCAS applications can be submitted from 5 September.

The first BMAT (Biomedical Admissions Test) session is on 1 September at authorised test centres. Results for this test are released on 20 September.

October 1 October, at midnight, is the deadline for BMAT October session registration. Late registration deadline is 15 October 6pm (late fees apply).
15 October 6pm is the UCAS deadline for applications to Oxford, Cambridge and most courses in medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine.
The second BMAT test session takes place on the 30 October. You can only take the test once, so if you took BMAT on 1 September you can't take this test as well.
November BMAT results for the October session are released on the 22 November.
January The UCAS deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses is 15 January at 6pm. Applications received by this date will be given equal consideration.
February UCAS Extra opens on the 25 February. If you have used all five choices but received no offers, or decline all offers, you can apply to universities via Extra.
May If you receive decisions on all your choices by 31 March, you must reply to them by 19 May.
This deadline has been extended for 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
June If you receive decisions on all your choices by 20 May, you must reply to them by 4 June.

Lancaster University Accommodation Portal for applications open
The final UCAS application deadline is 30 June 6pm. Applications received after this date will be automatically entered into Clearing.
July International Baccalaureate (IB) results are published early July
August SQA results are published

A level results are published 13 August

All offer conditions must be met by the 31 August
