New webpage offers sustainability resources for staff

A new webpage has launched this week aimed to help staff easily access information about sustainability at Lancaster and signpost to useful sustainability resources. The aim is to make it easy for all staff, especially when starting, to understand the University’s approach to sustainability, and how they can contribute.
Sustainability is one of our core values as an organization, and we are committed to reducing our environmental impact, enhancing our social responsibility, and improving our economic performance. We have set ambitious sustainability goals and initiatives, such as reducing our carbon footprint, increasing our renewable energy use, supporting local communities, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
The new webpage supports these goals and initiatives by offering a variety of resources, such as tips, guides, policies, best practices, case studies, and more. You can access the webpage through this link. You can also bookmark the webpage for easy access.
We hope that you will find the webpage useful and informative and that it will inspire you to engage with sustainability in your daily work and personal life. We also welcome your feedback, suggestions, ideas, and stories on how you are making a difference. You can contact us by emailing sustainability@lancaster.ac.uk.
