Accessibility statement for MRI Energy Express
This accessibility statement applies to the MRI Energy Express Dashboard.
This website is hosted externally by MRI Energy and run by Lancaster University. Access is limited to a few named users only. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We also try to make the content as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- Some pages do not have a language attribute set, so some screen readers may struggle to interpret what language to read in.
- Some areas have small font text for group headers, which MRI are looking to improve in the future version. An alternative for people would be to use the mobile app, which provides bigger text versions.

Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 21st January 2026.
Testing was done on the first release of the year, MRI Energy 2025 R1. Testing was performed between the 5th and 9th of May 2025, with final sign off of the release on the 30th of June 2025. The test was carried out by MRI Energy.
Testing was performed using Chrome browser running WAVE browser extension and Chrome Developer Tools, including Lighthouse. Automated accessibility testing is being worked on as we move to a new regression suite. Tests were run on a sample of pages that reflect normal use. The application consists mainly of a list of items and charts. The 3 areas tested for compliance were Landing Page, Express Analysis and Express Templates. This covers lists of items, charts and general navigation.
