Alumni of the Lancaster MBA programmes along with experienced business professionals from the LUMS alumni community and North West corporate contacts are invited to attend our networking event at The Lowry, Manchester on Thursday 9th May.

The event, hosted by Chris Saunders, Director of the Executive MBA, is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow graduates and to expand your professional network.

Guest speaker and EMBA graduate, Tom Jones will give a talk on the theme of Developing resilience to grow your business.

How do you respond to challenge when the business needs you to really step up? How confident are you in yourself to deal with disappointment and not let it adversely affect your next project? Who has ever been told "you are not good enough", "your results fall way short of where they need to be" and "no: we don't want to work with you and your team?"

These are the sort of questions Tom will address in his talk, as well as sharing insights from his own experiences in life and business and referencing some more celebrated examples of individuals who have gone on to great things despite numerous set backs.

Tom Jones is owner of Cresco Coaching and Consulting, whose purpose is to help individuals thrive and companies grow. He has commercial experience spanning 25 years across a variety of sectors in leadership and management roles. Tom is also a Charity Trustee and Non Exec Director.
