Results and Outcomes

Tab Content: For Partners and Engagement

The university-based researchers facilitated chemical analysis of complex mixtures of materials to help facilitate Recircled Resources to valorise waste products into new raw materials. This project is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), specifically SDG 12 “responsible consumption and production”.

“Working with the University is helpful in providing specialist expertise on technical projects providing additional resources to deliver results.”

Richard Thompson, Recircled Resources.

Tab Content: For Academics

The project enabled the academic to understand some of the opportunities for engagement with SMEs. Staff have honed their skills in report writing for non-academic audiences, demonstrated impact from their collaborative research and developed professional networks (particularly in the sustainable industry sector) which may unlock opportunities for future research and development activities to benefit the UK’s economy/society.
