Paul - ERS manager

My role : "As the Employment and Recruitment Services manager, I lead the service that enables students to access internships, placements, and job opportunities. I work closely with internal teams and external employers to create valuable recruitment pathways, enhance employability, and support successful career outcomes. My role combines strategic planning with stakeholder engagement to deliver a high-impact, student-focused service. "

My favourite part of the job : "The most rewarding part of my work is seeing students gain quality experience, grow in confidence, and take the next step towards their future careers."

Alison - Recruitment assistant

My role : "As a recruitment assistant, I support both students and Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process to help ensure the right candidates are placed in the right roles. I work closely with individuals to understand their unique needs and contribute to creating a smooth and positive recruitment experience for everyone involved."

My favourite part of the job : "What I enjoy most about my role is being able to support both sides of the recruitment journey. Helping students take that next step in their career while assisting Hiring Managers in finding the perfect fit is incredibly rewarding. Knowing that I play a part in bringing the right people together to support business success and student development is what makes the role so meaningful to me."

James - Recruitment administrator

My role : "As a recruitment administrator I deal with both the hiring manager and candidates throughout whole recruitment process from start to finish. Ensuring the process runs as smoothly as possible. I deal with various recruitment requests, emails, hiring manager training, conducting right to work checks for both English/ Irish and International students."

My favourite part of the job : "My favourite part of the job is when a candidate has secured their first ever job! Helping a candidate through the whole process and they finally secure that role, after a candidate has tried to but been unfortunate. Resilience is key. I love seeing how happy a candidate is when they finally secure a position."
